Rowan Henderson is getting his NHL look. The Sudbury Wolves forward and client of Import Sports Management has signed an amateur tryout agreement, an ATO, with the Chicago Blackhawks, and he has been invited to the club's prospect showcase this September. We shared the news on Instagram on August 10, four days after another announcement worth celebrating: Rowan's commitment to NCAA Division I Merrimack College.
It all sets up a big season for Rowan. September starts with NHL coaching, testing, and evaluation at the Blackhawks' prospect showcase, his Merrimack commitment gives him a clear road ahead, and he is eligible for the 2027 NHL Draft next June. Coming off a year where he wore a letter for the Wolves and took home their Leadership Award and Best Defensive Player award, everything is lined up for the biggest season of his career.
